Over the last two months, we’ve released several new features for our docs that we wanted to share. These updates are based on feedback we received and data we saw during the initial launch of our new docs site in May.
- FHIR basics guide: We recognize that many of the organizations we work with are interested in—and potentially confused about—FHIR. To help you out, we’ve created a new guide to FHIR to describe how FHIR works, introduce Redox’s FHIR API offerings, and define some common FHIR terms. We hope this guide helps you feel like you’re a FHIR expert, even if you’ve just started your FHIR journey.
- Improved search: With the launch of our new site, we scaled back the scope of our search tools a bit and set them up to only search pages with the keyword in the title. We’ve updated our search indexing to also find headings within the article and to allow tagging of relevant articles for popular search terms by our team, so that you can find all of the relevant information, as well as the reason for match, when searching.
- “On this page”: We’ve introduced a table of contents to our How-to, Basics, and Action pages, so that you can quickly jump to the information you’re looking for.
- Updated 404 page: We know it’s disappointing when you land on a 404 page and don’t know why you can’t find what you’re looking for. Now, we run your unsuccessful URL through our search index to find pages that you might be what you’re looking for and display suggestions on the 404 page so you can jump directly to the most relevant article.
